BC throwing team Ultra Throw sets provincial records and indoor personal bests in Washington State.
BC's Team Ultra Throw's first Track and Field Throwing Meet together was a big success at the Hub City Preview in Centrailia, Washington State on the weekend.
Weight Throw team members Gabriella Moro (12 lbs weight - 9.25m), Dave McDonald (20 lbs weight - 15.05m), Jody Cranston (35 lbs weight - 9.26m) and Andrew Aurthur (25 lbs weight - 13.11m) each set personal best indoor throwing marks and brought back to Canada a couple of new BC records.
Team member Andrew Arthur also competed in the shot put and put himself within a meter of the provincial record by throwing the 6k shot over10 meters.

Tournament official Lance Neubauer put on a very athlete friendly and efficient meet as always. Plus, throwing icon George Mathews was made an honorary Ultra Throw team member for his many years of success and support to the entire international throwing community.
The Ultra Throw Club is a non-profit, community oriented, athletic organization. They offer training and instruction in Hammer, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Weight and Super Weight.
