Using a highly potent offence and swarming defence the girls put together everything Coach Debora Boshell and Tia Yeung taught them. The girls early morning before school practices paid off - when it mattered the most.
“These are a great bunch of girls who worked really hard the whole season”, said Coach Debora.
Steves beat Quichena 40 to 4 in the opening round, Diefenbaker 48 to 12 in the semi final and Gilmore 48 to 14 in the final to clinch the title and end the season.
